How to find your Apple Music Replay on the mobile app
Most people are going to use Apple Music on their iOS mobile devices or the Mac desktop. In that case, you need to select Listen Now in the left-hand sidebar and scrolling to the very bottom. As well as the current year, you will also see previous years, for as long as you have been an Apple Music subscriber.
You can click +Add to put the playlist into the Playlists section or click Play to start playing the playlist.
Scrolling a bit further down, you will see the actual playlist, ranked by the number of times you’ve played a particular song this year. Yeah, I have some unique music tastes — I am an 80s child after all.
When you scroll down even further, you get some more stats, including how many artists you have listened to this year, along with your three top favorites.
Finally, at the bottom, you can access the playlists from previous years, in case you want to go on a further nostalgia trip.
When does Apple Music Replay update?
The current year’s playlist seems to start not long after the New Year and will constantly update every time you listen to something on Apple Music. There seems to be no lag between listening to something and the stats updating.
